1. Overview
We want you to be completely satisfied with TaxSim. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted for purchases made on indiataxsim.com and through the IndIaTaxSim Android app, operated by Sajan Thesis Works, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (Udyam: UDYAM-KL-12-0069167, D-U-N-S: 771974696).
All new accounts receive 1 free credit on sign-up at no charge. This credit is sufficient to complete one GST registration practice and requires no payment. Refunds apply only to paid purchases.
2. Individual Student Plans (Standard Plan — ₹500 for 50 Credits)
- 7-day refund window: If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have used fewer than 3 credits from the purchased plan.
- No refund after 7 days from the date of purchase, or if 3 or more credits have been consumed.
- The 1 free credit received on sign-up is not refundable (it is free and has no monetary value).
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method via Razorpay within 5–7 business days.
3. GST Portal Proficiency Exam Fees (₹100 per attempt)
- Exam attempt fees are non-refundable once an attempt has been submitted, regardless of the result.
- If a technical failure on our end prevents you from completing a submitted attempt, please contact us with evidence. We will review and may grant a free re-attempt at our sole discretion.
4. Institute Packages
- Institute credit packages (Starter, Medium, Large plans) are refundable within 7 days of purchase only if no students have been enrolled (i.e., no credits have been assigned to any student).
- Once students have been enrolled or credits assigned, no refund is possible — the service has been delivered and student accounts have been activated.
- Students enrolled by an institute should contact their institute directly for any billing queries — refund requests from institute-enrolled students are not processed by TaxSim.
- Partial refunds for unused credits after student enrolment are not offered.
5. Mobile App Purchases
- The IndIaTaxSim Android app does not currently offer in-app purchases. Standard Plan purchases are made via the web platform at indiataxsim.com.
- Credits purchased via the web are available across both the web and mobile platforms under the same account.
- Refund requests for any payment made via Razorpay (regardless of whether you accessed the platform via web or mobile) are subject to the same refund terms as above.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
- Credits already consumed (deducted from your account for any action — registration, filing, invoicing, etc.).
- Refund requests made more than 7 days after the date of purchase.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms & Conditions.
- Requests citing dissatisfaction with free features or the simulation not exactly matching the real GST portal.
- Exam fees once an attempt has been submitted.
- The 1 free credit given on sign-up (no monetary value — not a paid purchase).
7. Technical Issues and Payment Failures
If you were charged but did not receive credits due to a payment error or technical failure, contact us immediately with your registered email address and a payment screenshot or transaction reference. We will resolve such issues within 24–48 business hours.

9. No Dispute on Simulation Features
Refunds will not be granted on the basis that the simulation differs from the real GST portal, that a specific feature is not yet available, or that the simulation did not help a user pass an external examination. TaxSim is an educational training tool and its value is in the practice experience it provides.
10. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute regarding refunds shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.
